udunno ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the udunno mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Name: The display name you enter when creating or taking a quiz. This is shown to other quiz participants.
• Quiz answers: Your answers to quiz questions, which are stored to calculate and display scores.

Information collected automatically:

• Anonymous device identifier: A randomly generated ID stored on your device to identify your quizzes and prevent duplicate quiz taking. This is not linked to your Apple ID or any personal account.
• Push notification token: If you grant notification permission, we store your device token to send you notifications when someone completes your quiz.
• Analytics data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as screen views, feature usage, and app performance. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the quiz creation and taking functionality
• To display quiz results to quiz creators
• To send push notifications when someone completes your quiz
• To improve the app experience through anonymous analytics

Data Storage

Quiz data is stored in Google Firebase Realtime Database. Data is retained for up to 30 days from quiz creation, after which quizzes expire automatically. Your local app data (created quizzes, taken quiz history) is stored only on your device.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited ways:

• Quiz participants: Your display name and quiz answers are visible to people who take or create quizzes you participate in.
• Service providers: We use Firebase (Google) for data storage and analytics, and RevenueCat for purchase management. These services process data according to their own privacy policies.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and managed by RevenueCat. We do not collect or store any payment information. Purchase records are managed by Apple and RevenueCat according to their respective privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Choices

• You can delete the app at any time, which removes all locally stored data.
• You can decline push notification permissions.
• Quiz data on our servers expires automatically after 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
